BODYBAR Pilates says it set a US record by bringing 100 participants together on 100 reformers in Frisco, Texas. The event also marked the franchise’s 100th studio opening and raised $10,000 for women’s cancer research and education.

BODYBAR Pilates has marked the opening of its 100th studio with a 50-minute class involving 100 participants on 100 reformers. The event took place on 13 September 2026 at the Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star in Frisco, Texas, during the franchise’s annual conference. BODYBAR announced that the gathering was the largest reformer Pilates class on record in the United States.

The class was held five days after BODYBAR opened its 100th studio in the Presidio area of North Fort Worth, close to the market where the Texas-founded franchise began. It also formed part of the wider centenary celebrations marking 100 years since Joseph and Clara Pilates opened their first New York studio in 1926. Franchise owners, instructors and invited media took part, with the session led by BODYBAR co-founder and chief brand officer Kamille McCollum alongside other instructors.

BODYBAR says the event raised US$10,000 for the Foundation for Women’s Cancer, with the donation calculated at $100 for each reformer. Balanced Body supplied the reformers, while McCollister’s handled shipping, set-up and installation. Other named event partners included Pilabarre, FitRadio and TAVI. The charity element gave the large-scale celebration a purpose beyond franchise promotion, supporting an organisation involved in education, research and public awareness around gynaecological cancers.

The development illustrates how quickly boutique reformer Pilates is being organised at franchise scale, combining studio expansion, instructor networks, equipment logistics and community fundraising in one event. BODYBAR’s figures are company-reported, and its claim of a US record was independently organised and documented using standards consistent with formal record-keeping organisations; the announcement does not establish that it has been certified by an external record authority. Even so, the event offers a notable snapshot of the sector’s commercial growth and the increasingly large communities being built around reformer-based classes.
