JETSET Pilates is entering Florida’s Sarasota-Bradenton market with a 16-reformer Lakewood Ranch studio, the fifth location developed by local operators Pure Form Studios.
JETSET Pilates is opening its first Lakewood Ranch studio this October, marking the franchise’s entry into the Sarasota-Bradenton market. The 2,400-square-foot location at 8386 Market Street is being developed by Pure Form Studios, led by co-owners Lauren and Patrick Christopher.
The studio is planned around 16 Reformers and will begin with two weeks of complimentary preview classes. A grand-opening celebration is scheduled for October 17, followed by the start of regular paid classes on October 18. Founding memberships are being offered before the full launch.
For studio owners and instructors, the opening illustrates how Pilates franchises continue to grow through regional development groups rather than only through individual independent operators. Pure Form Studios already operates four other JETSET locations in the Tampa area, making Lakewood Ranch part of a broader local network rather than a standalone experiment.
The development also shows the operational model behind many contemporary Reformer studios: a fixed-capacity room, scheduled group sessions, introductory previews and presale memberships designed to build an initial client base before regular programming begins. Those features may help studios manage early demand, although the article does not provide independent figures for membership sales, staffing or profitability.
The Lakewood Ranch opening matters beyond Florida because franchise expansion is reshaping access to Pilates in markets where specialised studios are still emerging. It may increase local participation and instructor opportunities, while also adding competition for established studios. As with any company-led announcement, the location, class capacity and launch schedule are verifiable details, but claims about growth or future performance should be treated as commercial rather than independent evidence.
